Vita Coco Coconut Water Review

Vita Coco 100 percent pure coconut water comes in a 17 fluid ounce carton with a handy plastic lid. The slogan on the container says it’s like “sticking a straw in a coconut.”

For my review of Vita Coco coconut water, I wanted to find out what does coconut water taste like. Also, I was curious whether coconut water is that magical elixir that can cure PMS and help your muscles recover after a workout. It’s supposed to be good for people with kidney problems as well.

I drank the Vita Coco throughout the month to get an accurate picture of how it affected my health.

First, how does coconut water taste? I love the taste and smell of coconut milk, but coconut water isn’t the same. It’s fairly tasteless. You don’t want to notice any kind of mold or mildew smell in your coconut water.

Because Vita Coco coconut water has such a neutral taste, I preferred adding it to my smoothies in place of water. I also liked it mixed with grapefruit juice. Here are some things I learned about the health benefits of coconut water and Vita Coco from my review:

No. 1: Coconut Water calories: The calories in a serving (8.5 ounce) of Vita Coco is 45.

No. 2: Coconut Water nutritional facts: The Vita Coco nutritional facts include no fat, no cholesterol, 30 mg sodium, 515 mg potassium, no fiber, 11 grams of sugar, no protein, 175 percent Vitamin C, 8 percent magnesium, 4 percent calcium and 4 percent phosphorus.

No. 3: The ingredients in Vita Coco coconut water is just coconut water, which comes from the inside of a coconut.

No. 4: Vita Coco is a product of Brazil produced for All Market Inc. in New York.

No. 5: Vita Coco vitamin water is a gluten free product.

No. 6: Vita Coco coconut water has more electrolytes than many sports drinks.

No. 7: Vita Coco coconut water benefits include more potassium than two bananas.

Vita Coco coconut water is used by athletes for hydration. It’s best chilled.

I enjoyed mixing Vita Coco in my protein shakes during the month. I felt as though having coconut water in a fruit smoothie prior to working out gave me a lot of energy.

When I added Vita Coco coconut milk to my protein shakes such as Fit Smart and Spiru-Tein after working out with weights, I was hoping it would help me maintain muscle mass. I had great results for the month in terms of my workouts, and felt more energetic without any caffeine.

Can coconut water cure PMS? The greatest benefit to coconut water, for me anyway, was no moodiness that is usually associated with PMS.

I give Vita Coco five out of five stars for nutrition, and highly recommend drinking coconut water as part of a healthy diet.
