Poems to Share with Your Mom on Mother’s Day

I was blessed, or cursed, with having three mothers. One biological and two step-mothers is a lot to keep up with when you are trying to think of something special to give them on Mother’s Day. I didn’t want to send one Mom something better then the other Mom and make it look like I played favourites. This year, each mom is getting a lovely framed poem. Each has their own special Mother’s Day poem to keep it more personal. Here they are for all to enjoy, and hopefully inspire… three Mother’s Day poems to the three best moms in the world.

A Rose’s Beauty

They say a rose is beautiful
And though I think so too
No rose could ever compare
To the beauty I find in you.
What soft and gentle spirit you have
What a kind and radiant fate
You are the soul that anyone
Would want to emulate.
If only you knew how much you meant
to all that your life was given.
But there are no words to explain
So I do it by how I’m living.
You were the one from within
that no one could ever see
It’s seems they all were blinded
By your radiant beauty.

This next one is for the mom that loves to cook!

Thank You
No words can ever express
The gratitude I feel
For such a loving mother
And all your delicious meals.
You feed us and nourished us
With the kindness of your heart
No matter where we are
We’re never far apart.
So thank you for the blessing
And the meals that live on
As leftovers for breakfast and lunch
You feed us well! Thank you MOM!

Hearts
If all the Moms were graded by their loving hearts
And they made the poster as big as the world
You still wouldn’t be on the chart.
Because you are the best Mother
And no one else can compare
To your kindness and loving nature
That you always share.
You balance the best of both worlds
You’re better than any trend
You’re not only a wonderful mother
I am proud to call you my friend!

And, for those of you are more into freestyle poetry, my friend, Justin, offered this poem:

Roses are red
Money is green
I like green. It’s pretty!

Make sure you wish a new mother Happy Mothers Day with this small poem

Roses are sweet
Babies are too
Blessed are new mothers
All the years through.

Happy Mothers Day!
