In one of the oddest decisions of 2007, NBC decided that there is some kind of clamoring for the old game show American Gladiators and has decided to bring the show back.
I was a fan of the American Gladiators but I wasn’t exactly asking for NBC to bring the show back. I’ll probably give it a try to see what it’s like. If you’re like me and you want to see what the new American Gladiators is like then be sure to read this guide on the new American Gladiators.

I have to admit one of the main reasons I’m going to tune in to the new American Gladiators is for Gina Carano. Carano is a female MMA fighter and that’s pretty hot. She’s like Chuck Liddell, except not ugly.

I’m also interested in seeing Don Yates simply because he has a career in bullfighting. Those little wusses that get to compete in American Gladiators will pale in comparison.

Beth Horn is an International Fitness Body Building (IFBB) Pro, competed in the National Ftiness Championship in 2000 and is the author of a nutrition and fitness book called the Natural Way.

Jesse Smith is a kick boxer and once upon a time he competed in the WWE’s Tough Enough, a reality show where contestants competed to be the next WWE wrestler.

Mike O’Hearn is a bodybuilder and four-time Mr. Universe. O’Hearn is considered the current captain of the American Gladiators, probably because he was cast as an alternate in the first American Gladiators but never appeared on air.

Jamie Reed is a former collegiate athlete. In college Jamie played softball and track & field. Jamie is also a figure championship competitor. In high school Jamie was named “Most Likely to Be an American Gladiator.”

William Romeo is a kick boxer that competed in the K-1 fight league and had a record of 34 – 0. Romeo is also an actor that has made a few very small appearances on several television shows including Shark, Charmed and Without a Trace.

Real Name: Valerie Waugaman
Valerie is another IFBB Pro and has her own body building videos. In college Waugaman attended Ohio University where she played volleyball.

Real Name: Tanoai Reed
If Reed bears resemblance to former WWE wrestler turned actor, The Rock, then there’s good reason. Tanoai Reed is the cousin of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and they look similar enough that Reed is The Rock’s stunt double.

As a former basketball player at the University of Houston Robin Coleman is a great athlete. In 1997 Coleman began bodybuilding and in 2001 she placed third in the World’s Strongest Woman competition.
