Product Review: Red Diamond Tea

There is nothing more relaxing and refreshing than a nice, tall glass full of fresh brewed tea. With all of the many choices available these days, it is hard to find that one tea that has just the taste you are searching for.

A few weeks ago, my sister invited me to accompany her to a luncheon and since she could bring one guest with her, I was able to go with her. We arrived at the event and the guest speaker provided information about his line of work he is in and what the company he works for has to offer the community.

Afterwards, lunch was served. There were a few choices of what you could have to drink and one of the choices there was the Red Diamond tea. I had never heard of this particular brand of tea and was a little leery since all of my previous experiences with brewed tea had not been good ones. I had tried the powdered teas that you mix with water and did not like this because the product never seemed to mix up well enough and left chunks of wet tea in the bottom of my glass and pitcher. I decided then to try brewing my own tea myself and purchased a box of tea bags. I got home, brewed up a few tea bags and took a taste of my fresh brewed tea I had just made and all I tasted was what seemed like was the tea bags themselves. I even filled a pitcher with water and placed several tea bags inside and then sat the pitcher on my balcony in the sunshine to have sun tea soon. Again, all I tasted by making tea this way was tea bags.

With all of my taste testing I had done with different teas, I decided to give the Diamond Tea a try since I did not want just water with my lunch that day. I filled my glass up with the tea and took a tiny sip and said to my sister, wow!

I have never tasted tea that was this fresh. Especially being a brewed tea. The tea did not leave an aftertaste in your mouth like others before had. It goes down smooth and has such a refreshing taste and the aroma from the tea when you are sipping it smells just like brewed tea. This particular container of tea was the sweetened version. This tea combines orange pekoe and pekoe tea to such an elegant blend, it is like nothing I have ever tasted before and there is no other tea product out there that can even begin to compare itself to this one. Pour yourself a glass, sit back, put your feet and enjoy the best tasting, ready to drink tea ever.

This tea can be purchased at Brookshires and the cost is $2.67. As soon as I lef the luncheon, I drove to our local Brookshires and purchased two jugs of the tea and was excited to let my husband try this tea. He is very picky about his tea. When my husband arrived home, I poured him a glass of this tea over ice and he took a sip and told me that this was the best tea he had ever tasted. I was even surprised to know that my picky husband liked brewed tea. This tea just does not taste like the typical brewed tea. It has it’s own unique flavor and refreshing taste that no other ready to drink product has.
