How to Make a Brochure for Your Business

Companies produce, sell, install and service products all the time. A good method to use to advertise your business is through making a brochure for your company. The brochures you make will be informative and supply useful details about your products and services. You can make a brochure using Microsoft Word without much trouble. It will only take a few things to achieve this.

Items Required:

Business details
Graphics or other pictures
Microsoft Word
Printer
Paper

Process Involved:

Decide on a basic layout for your business brochure. Think about what you want to present. Who is your target audience? What details do you need to include? Make a rough draft of your idea.

Bring together all of the data and graphics. Locate pictures, company logos, product (service, job or alike) specifications, business information (phone, address, website and so on) and any thing else required to make the brochure.

Modify or adjust pictures and graphics for your air conditioning brochure. Download any photos from your camera. Scan any graphics needed. Save these to an easily accessed file on your computer. Alter the size or appearance of these, if wanted.

Open Microsoft Word Document Wizard. This should automatically appear when Microsoft Word is opened. Access it from the “File” menu, if it does not. Click on “New” and select the “Publications” tab. Select “Brochure.” Click “OK.”

Replace the default text and graphics on the brochure. Highlight any area of the brochure to edit it. Insert your words as needed. Place pictures in the company brochure through using “Insert” (then “Picture” and the specific file) from the Menu bar. Delete any sections not desired.

Examine the finished brochure. Thoroughly read over each part of the brochure for errors or required changes. Make all modification to the brochure. Print a single copy and check it out again.

Print your business brochures. Go over the correct way to insert the paper to print the back of the brochures. Use a test sheet for this. Print the company brochures as needed.
