Food for Life; 7 Sprouted Grains Review

If you want to try a flourless bread for better health, Food for Life bread is the one to chose. All your health sources tell you to avoid white flour and chose only sprouted whole grains. Food for Life has several types of breads; gluten-free/wheat free, low Glycemic/Diabetic friendly, high fiber, and yeast free. The one I’m writing about is called Seven Sprouted Whole Grain. It comes in regular, sesame, and cinnamon with raison. There is a difference with Food for Life brands compared to most high grain breads today. Most of the grains on the market are processed to the point where it is no better than white bread. Food for Live has live grains and it contains no flour! Sprouting grains release all of the vital nutrients stored in whole grains. Food for Life is also certified organic grains.

It has a wonderfully delicious nutty taste. The sprouted grains are wheat, rye, barley, oats, millet, corn and brown rice. These grains also give you ten per cent of protein by weight. Their type of baking process preserves these valuable nutrients and retains the natural fiber and bran. Their sprouting process not only significantly increases vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin A, C, B, Calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium but the process allows the protein and carbohydrates to be assimilated by the body more efficiently.

The Seven Sprouted Grains slices are small but pack a powerful punch when it comes to nutrition. There are three grams of fiber per slice. There are eighty calories per slice. It has a good high potassium content too with 80 mg which is 2% of the daily value. Most breads do not have potassium. It has one gram of sugar per sliced compared to other breads that might have four grams of sugar per slice. The sodium content is only 3% of your daily value compared to other breads which is around 5%. What I also like about the Seven Sprouted Grains is when it comes to the daily value of vitamins comparing it to other breads; it has four percent of Vitamin B6, six per cent of Magnesium, and four per cent of Zinc. Most other breads do not have these vitamins.

The cost of the bread is twice as much as a regular loaf of bread, around $4. However, you can’t put a price on one’s health. In addition, it fills you up so you don’t feel like nibbling. Due to the fact that there are natural ingredients you would find this product in the freezer section aisle of your grocery store.

Good health does not come in a bottle or in one product. This type of bread is a good start to a healthy diet. Enjoy the live grain difference and try the Food for Life bread.
Food for Life also has English muffins, flourless tortillas, buns, pocket breads, cereals, and pasta. If you go to FoodForLife.com you can find a store locator and a coupon.
