Soba noodles are unique to Japan and are a staple to their diets. Some of these Soba and Udon products that Eden Foods offers are imported directly from Japan.
One of Eden Foods’ most popular items is the soymilk they produce as it is America’s first soymilk ever created. Only the finest ingredients are used, 240 quality control checks are administered throughout the process and years of research have gone into these products. An impressive amount of testing is needed for the production of Eden Foods’ soymilk because soy fields contain some of the most genetically modified crops in the world. Numerous flavors are available however none contain any artificial sweeteners of flavors. Pure vanilla extract is used to flavor the products. Unsweetened varieties are available as are light versions, and blends of soy milk and rice milk. The milks have a wonderful creamy and mild flavor to them. They are very natural and very pleasant to drink. Apple butter, apple cherry butter and cherry butter are all available through Eden Foods and they’re really great products. The consistency of them is a little thicker and less moist than an applesauce would be. It’s almost like a mashed fruit mixture but it tastes great. There’s a lot you can do with this product such as use it as a jam on toast or a bagel. It’s a great snack on crackers or rice cakes as well. The Butters are slowly kettle cooked and are fat free and sodium free. These same flavors are also available as sauces and other flavors are also available such as apple strawberry sauce and apple cinnamon sauce. Small individual sized packages of the sauces are available.
A whole line of oils and vinegars are available from Eden Foods as well. I’m a huge salad fan and there’s an enormous difference between your average store bought salad dressing and one that you create on your own using a little bit of organic oil and vinegar. There’s so much more flavor and it’s so much better for you than the dressings that have additives and preservatives in them.
The snack foods line from Eden Foods is really different and unique. I tried a few of the many products they offer and I must say if you like trying new and exciting foods, this might be the food for you. Corn is one of the most contaminated foods in our country. This includes the popcorn we pop on a movie night at home. Eden Foods offers organic popcorn which is absolutely delicious. I was amazed at the difference between non-organic and organic popcorn. A variety of trail mixes are available as well that include all organic dried fruits, nuts, and seeds. They’re very tasty and come in handy resealable packages.
