4th on Flagler in West Palm Beech

A 640-pound cheese in the shape of the presidents on Mount Rushmore will be the centerpiece of this year’s 4th on Flagler celebration in West Palm Beach. The cheese will be displayed at the Lake Pavilion on the waterfront and donated to an organization that helps the homeless after the event. Visitors will also enjoy a Harley Davidson motorcycle exhibition and photographs in “face in the hole” photo boards of momentous times in United States history. A Splash and Dash competition will be conducted by local fire departments. Those celebrating the 4th of July will enjoy music at the Meyer Amphitheatre and the Palm Stage, where several bands will entertain. Mayor Jeri Muoio will speak at the military salute when a 5-story American flag will be unfurled on the Esplanade Grande building. 4th on Flagler events start at 5 pm on the Intracoastal Waterway and end with a grand finale of fireworks synchronized to music beginning at 9 pm. The events are free of charge.
