This easy way to decorate a wood frame can help transform a cheap item into a stunning work of art.
Begin by removing the mirror or medicine cabinet door, and protect the mirror with paper and painter’s tape. Coat the wood frame with spray-on adhesive, and cover it with either natural or colored sand. This will make a fantastic natural background for the seashells. Without the sand the wood frame would be visible in between the shells and not look nearly as impressive.
Next, attach the shells using a hot glue gun or strong clear-drying waterproof adhesive. Cover the entire frame with small shells and use even smaller shells around the edges.
