John Mayer has many great songs. And a lot of them rank among my favorites all around. John Mayer is one of the most well rounded artists, in my opinion. John Mayer’s talent is undeniable. A great voice that is mixed with wonderfully profound lyrics. Throw in his guitar and you have something utterly amazing. It is hard to go wrong with John Mayer. With 5 Cd’s released so far and every one of them brings something new to the table. There are a few songs here and there that I will sometimes skip but for the most part I love to listen to them through and through. John Mayer’s music is great to take a time to with, soak in the tub,sing along to, set the mood, and so much more. These are my choices for John Mayer’s top ten songs.
Your Body is a Wonderland comes from his Room for Squares CD. One of the most beautiful slow songs. The perfect slow dancing song. Your Body is a Wonderland sparks something beautiful. The lyrics in Your Body is a Wonderland make me envious every time I listen to this beautifully written Grammy winning song.
Clarity off of John Mayer’s Heavier Things CD. Clarity happens to be my favorite John Mayer song. So different, meaningful and beautiful.
Half my Heart from the Battle Studies CD is my favorite song on this particular CD. Truth is spoken and the lyrics are profound. The lyrics of Half my Heart speak something louder then words. Having Taylor Swift singing along with him helps the song have that extra spark.
Quiet from the, littler known, Inside wants out CD. A great song that never hit the radio waves. A great view at a beautiful acoustic song. And a song that shows how John Mayer Started out.
New Deep from John Mayer’s Heavier Things CD. An original and fresh song that makes me smile every time I listen to it. The lyrics will have have you thinking about life changes and life in general.
No such thing from the Room for squares CD. Who doesn’t love this one. No Such Thing is the song that caught every ones attention. And made John Mayer the star singer he is today.
Dreaming with a Broken Heart off of the Continuum CD. A great song that is sure to catch you and bring you into John Mayer’s song.
Assassin from the Battle Studies CD. A slow beautiful song. Assassin has a great vibe.
Stop this Train is from John Mayer’s Continuum CD. The song is so catchy that I often find myself singing along with the lyrics.
Gravity comes from the Continuum CD. The lyrics in Gravity have me entranced every time I listen.
John Mayer also has a CD called Try!from when he teamed up with Steve Jordan and Pino Palladino to make the John Mayer Trio. Try! has a more blues feel to the music and is a Live concert CD. A CD that comes highly recommended.
