Expensive or Cheap 1920s Wedding Favors

After some detailed searching on the Internet I have come across some really interesting ideas for a 1920’s wedding as far as the wedding favors go. The 1920’s was a time of dancing and movies were very exciting for people then. Women wore more exciting clothing and loved to go out dancing. Lately, people have been noticing this era more and more and a lot of people have been using ideas from this time period for their weddings. If you are planning a 1920’s wedding (which has seemed really popular lately) then you should definitely look into unique 1920’s party favors for your guests. I have come up with a few ideas for 1920’s wedding favors but I found it really hard to find already made 1920’s wedding favors. After some hard searching I have discovered a bunch of different 1920’s wedding favors for both low and high-income weddings.

Wedding Favors For a High Income 1920’s Wedding

• Give out little Model T cars that Hot Wheels makes

• Give women boas, ostrich fans, or long necklaces.

• Print out interesting facts about the 1920’s and put them on little sheets of paper and give those out as wedding favors.

• Many places will make candles for wedding favors and you can have them make candles that are models of women and men from the 20’s dancing together.

• Baseball was a big thing in the 1920’s and you could have personally made little baseball figurines to pass out to your male guests and women movie star figurines to pass out to your female guests.

Wedding Favors For a Low Income 1920’s Wedding

• You could pass out little plastic figurines of guys and girls from the 20’s dancing or even papers that had titles of the most famous 1920 movies and cartoons just a couple being Mickey Mouse and Rin-Tin-Tin.

• You could have little radios made that play a little bit of different 1920’s songs and pass those out to guests.

• Tommy guns became pretty popular in 1920 and you could pass those out to the men

Campbell Soup Company was established in 1922 and everyone loves Campbell Soup! You could pass out cans of Campbell Soup to guests and it would definitely stir up a few laughs and it is also pretty cheap.

• The Milky Way and Butterfinger candy bars were invented in 1923 so these would be nice party favors to pass out, especially the little bite-size versions.

• You could burn you own cd’s to pass out with 1920’s music on them. This idea can either be cheap or expensive depending on the amount of guests you are having at your wedding and it can be a little time consuming but it is an interesting idea. -There is also a program that you can purchase for your computer that prints out cd covers that you can use if you want to make fancy cases for your cds.

A 1920’s wedding may be a little expensive depending on what your actual 1920’s them is but your wedding favors can definitely be unique even if they are not extremely expensive!
