Our body will reject certain foods and cause us to have an itchy rash and inflammation of the skin which is a sign that you are suffering from eczema. First off please note that we are all different and what affects one person may not affect another person. The reason wheat products causes some people to have a problem is because the wheat is refined. The process of refining wheat takes out all the natural minerals and vitamins leaving wheat a by-product that is no longer beneficial and often harmful to your skin.

The next culprit that you need to be made aware of is dairy products because they can cause you to have problems with your skin. The most common dairy products that cause the problem are cow’s milk and eggs. Often these products will cause your skin to be irritated and a rash will form. It is best to drink soy milk instead of cow’s milk. Soy is a great grain that will help in the healing process and you can find many items made up with soy. Soy milk comes in flavors and it is very easy to obtain as you can find it in the produce department of your local grocery store or health food stores.

Finally, one of the worst foods to consume is tree nuts such as cashews, walnuts, almonds, etc. These nuts can be very harmful to your skin causing you not only to have a rash but often you find that you may feel sick from the nuts after you have eaten them. You need to make sure that when you are buying certain foods such as candies or bakery items that they were not prepared in an area where nuts were used for other baking products. Just as an example if you read on the back of the Cadbury Caramello candy bar it states, “Allergy Information: Manufactured on the same equipment that processes tree nuts.” There are many different candy companies that process their product in this manner so it is up to you to check the labels before you buy the product.
