Biosilk Silk Therapy Hair Conditioner – Beauty Review

It’s that time of year again where cold winds outside and forced hot air inside is wreaking havoc on my hair. Just when I get past the humidity of the summer, I had about three weeks of cool dry weather in the Fall where I enjoyed very good hair days and now the chilly elements combined with the heating is making my hair dry and lifeless. On a recent visit to the drugstore I found Biosilk Silk Therapy Conditioner on sale for almost half price. Regularly priced at over ten dollars for an eleven point six ounce bottle, I have bypassed this product before. When I saw it was on sale for $5.96 I just couldn’t resist.

Biosilk Silk Therapy Conditioner is contained in a sleek white bottle with black lettering and black cap. Without the usual flashy lettering and pictures of fruit or bold claims on the front of the bottle, it is easy to walk right past this product in favor of other conditioners that scream “Notice Me!” when shopping for hair products. Biosilk Silk Therapy Conditioner’s packaging is understated, as if it knows it’s quality and doesn’t need to rely on bold statements or pictures to make it’s point.

After bringing home the Biosilk Silk Therapy Conditioner, I couldn’t wait to try it out. Already a fan of the Biosilk Therapy liquid drops that I use daily, I knew this product would not disappoint. After shampooing my hair in the shower, I snapped open the cap and tried to squeeze the recommended amount of conditioner into my palm. I was quite puzzled when nothing came out. After trying once more and then unscrewing the cap, I realized there was a white paper label over the bottle’s opening. It is not very easy to remove this label with wet hands, so do yourself a favor and remove it prior to getting in the shower.

The Biosilk Silk Therapy Conditioner is thick and creamy white. The scent is subtle and not overwhelming. Neither fruity nor sweet, the scent is not easily defined. It is simply pleasant. After applying thoroughly to my hair and then waiting several minutes, I proceeded to rinse the conditioner out of my hair. To my surprise, the product rinsed very easily and seemed to almost disappear into my hair. It was so thoroughly absorbed, rinsing took only seconds. I was quite impressed with this fact as it confirmed my opinion that this hair conditioner was a quality product that would perform as expected. Instead of washing most of the hair conditioner down the drain, Biosilk Silk Therapy Conditioner stays where it’s supposed to.

I noticed a difference in my hair’s texture and condition immediately after beginning to blow dry it. Dry, thirsty hair resists any kind of styling and is quite stubborn when trying to coax it into the desired style. While using my large round brush I was able to dry and style my hair with a minimum of resistance from my hair. It felt softer, fuller and definitely healthier. There was absolutely no lingering residue, just clean healthy hair. After a few passes with my straightening iron, and a spritz or two of hair spray, I was ready to go.

Biosilk Silk Therapy Conditioner is an exceptional hair conditioner that makes my hair look healthy, shiny and increases the manageability tenfold. At $5.96 this product was such a bargain and even at ten dollars and change, Biosilk Silk Therapy Conditioner is worth every penny. I highly recommend Biosilk Silk Therapy Conditioner to make your hair look as beautiful and healthy as it can be.
